By foot from the Golden Lion you can enjoy walking or cycling around Stithians Lake, or sailing, windsurfing or fly fishing at the South West Lakes Trust Watersports Centre only 100yds away.

Only a short journey from The Golden Lion you will find four nature reserves managed by Cornwall Wildlife Trust. These are Pendarves Wood, Kennall Vale, Devichoys Wood, and Bissoe Valley
